Kathy W. Armstrong

Receptionist

Kathy W. Armstrong joined our firm in 2023. With more than 25 years of experience as a legal receptionist, Kathy is typically the first person to answer the phone or greet clients when they walk through our doors. She is a wonderful addition to our firm and brings a warm, cheerful presence to the office.

Donna H. Kanipe

Legal Secretary

Donna H. Kanipe brings almost three decades of legal experience to the firm, having begun her career with David L. Isenhower in 1999. Working alongside David, Donna provides support in all aspects of estate planning and probate administration and is an essential member of our team.

Donna assists with the preparation of estate planning and estate administration documents, deeds for real estate transfers, and guardianship matters. Her extensive experience and knowledge make her a valuable resource to both our clients and our team.

Christina A. McKean

Paralegal

Christina A. McKean has over three decades of experience in the legal industry and is an invaluable asset to the firm. Christina joined the firm in 2017 and serves as the primary legal support for Susan Williams Matthews. She has considerable experience assisting with matters involving business and corporate law, estate planning and estate administration, and litigation, and she uses her experience to provide professional and skillful support for the firm’s clients.

Christina grew up in Port St. Lucie, Florida and attended Indian River Community College (now Indian River State College) where she received her degree in Legal Assistant Technology in 1989.

Christina is a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and resides in Taylorsville, North Carolina with her husband and their children.

Judy M. Watson

Certified Paralegal

Judy M. Watson is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal. Judy offers clients over thirty-five (35) years of experience handling residential and commercial real estate transactions. She routinely assists with preparation of deeds and loan closing documents and handles scheduling for real estate and loan closings. Judy has experience working with clients, title companies, banks/lenders, surveyors and more. Judy is the contact person if a client has any questions about a real estate matter.
