Jackie L. Houser

Legal Secretary

Jackie L. Houser graduated with a Legal Secretary Associate Degree from Catawba Valley Community College in 1975. She is a dedicated member of our firm, having been employed with David L. Isenhower since 1988. Jackie has years of experience handling residential and commercial real estate matters. She routinely prepares deeds and loan closing documents, and handles scheduling for real estate and loan closings. Jackie is the contact person if a client has any questions about a real estate matter.

 

Donna H. Kanipe

Legal Secretary and Receptionist

Donna H. Kanipe brings almost two decades of legal experience to the firm, having begun her career with David L. Isenhower in 1999. As both the receptionist and legal assistant for the firm's Estate Planning and Probate Administration practices, Donna is an essential member of our firm. She is tasked with many responsibilities, which she handles skillfully. Donna is usually the first person you talk to when you call or visit the law firm. She answers the phone, schedules appointments, and assists with walk-ins.

Donna also offers support in all aspects of estate planning and probate administration. She helps with the preparation of estate planning and estate administration documents, deeds for real estate transfers, and guardianship matters.

 

Christina A. McKean

Paralegal and Receptionist

Christina A. McKean has over three decades of experience in the legal industry and is an invaluable asset to the firm. Christina joined the firm in 2017 and serves as the primary legal support for Susan Williams Matthews. She has considerable experience assisting with matters involving business and corporate law, estate planning and estate administration, and litigation, and she uses her experience to provide professional and skillful support for the firm’s clients. In addition to providing support for Susan Williams Matthews, Christina also routinely answers the phone and greets clients.

Christina grew up in Port St. Lucie, Florida and attended Indian River Community College (now Indian River State College) where she received her degree in Legal Assistant Technology in 1989.

Christina is a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and resides in Taylorsville, North Carolina with her husband and their children.
